De Ilse Frankenthal Stichting brengt dit motto in praktijk, doormiddel van exposities en schoolprojecten.---

Mrs Ilse Frankenthal descended from a family of music editors in Leipzig. At the beginning of 1960 she settled in Brunssum. She wholeheartedly advised and supported artists of all sorts of schools. Her indispensable authentic love of art stood her in good stead when organizing exhibitions of artistic expression. Since her death, in 1987, her work has been continued by friends, joined in afoundation. Every second year this foundation awards a graphic art price to young artists from the Meuse/Rhine Euregion. The jury is made up of Dutch, Belgian and German artists
